UTMPlus Builder is a tool for building and standardising marketing campaign tracking links (UTMs). This page explains, in plain terms, what the product does and does not do with data. It is written to be honest and specific rather than exhaustive legal boilerplate.
No web analytics, no advertising tracking
The application does not run visitor analytics, advertising pixels, session recording, or any third-party tracking script. We do not profile you, build an advertising audience from your activity, or sell data. The links you build are, of course, yours to use in your own marketing — the app itself simply does not track its own users.
No personal information is stored
The data the application persists is campaign metadata: UTM strings, campaign names, source/medium/product values, generated campaign IDs, and short-link click counts. This is operational marketing configuration, not personal data about individuals.
Where short links record a click, we store an aggregate count together with a coarse timestamp, referrer, and user-agent, and a hashed (irreversible) form of the IP address for basic abuse protection. We never store raw IP addresses or other directly identifying information about the people who click your links.
Sign-in and account data
Account sign-in uses Google sign-in only for identity. When you sign in, Google shares your email address, name, and profile image with the app to identify your account — nothing more. We do not request access to your Gmail, Drive, contacts, or advertising accounts through your login.
Where the product reads reporting data (for example Google Analytics figures shown in dashboards), it does so through a dedicated service account configured by an administrator — never through your personal Google login or its OAuth scopes.
Data ownership and retention
Your organisation owns the campaigns and links it creates. Data is scoped to your organisation and is only visible to members of that organisation. Ask an administrator to export or delete your organisation's data at any time.
